In a career spanning almost 17 years - which includes one Nandi Award for 'Mirchi', and won Best Actor SIIMA - Telugu for Baahubali 2: The Conclusion - Prabhas has been a real darling for his fans. Prabhas is someone who is known as shy and humble, often witty, however, his pleasant manners and funny conversations with close groups and friends make him a favourite.
He is celebrating his 40th Birthday today. The Tollywood hunk was born on 23 October 1979. Let us wish Prabhas a very Happy Birthday
He made his debut with the flick Eeshwar in 2002, which was declared a decent hit. However, he got his first big break with Varsham in 2004. The actor's career took another leap forward when he worked with S. S. Rajamouli for Chatrapathi. The film fared well at the box office and earned him star status in TFI.
Rebel Star, as his fans call him, struggled to deliver a big hit for three years after Chatrapathi, but he bounced back with flicks 'Darling' and 'Mr. Perfect' in 2010 and 2011 respectively. In 2012, he came before audiences as 'Rishi/Rebel' in the movie 'Rebel' helmed by Raghava Lawrence, however, the movie was again a dud at the box office. As we all know, his next three movies Mirchi, Baahubali & its sequel have proved to be big hits at the box office.
His latest movie Sahoo received a mixed response from audiences but still, the movie managed to collect 424 crore plus gross worldwide (according to UV creations' Twitter handle).
Among all his films, without a doubt, Prabhas' performance in Baahubali 1 & 2 will go down in film history as one of the best performances in his career.
Prabhas' commitment to movies is just amazing and incredible. He invested four years of his life in the Baahubali saga and another two years for Sahoo. One can do so only when he has true passion and dedication.
The south-star will next be seen in a romantic entertainer that will be helmed by Radha Krishna Kumar who also directed 'Jil'.
